About me

I am an information privacy and security expert who has consulted globally on privacy and security issues. This includes strategic advisory services, program development, privacy impact assessments, investigations, and acting as an expert witness on privacy.

My early professional background was in Information Technology Operations and Six Sigma Business Process Improvement. That led to working for the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario and Cancer Care Ontario before becoming a consultant.

My volunteer work focuses on the intersection of digital identity and privacy. That work includes leadership roles at the IEEE Digital Privacy Initiative, the Kantara Initiative's Privacy Enhancing Mobile Credentials Work Group, Canada's Digital Governance Council, and MyData Global.
